We pride ourselves on being the voyage for those who love travel, so from the moment you book your cruise with us, we want your entire trip to be smooth sailing from start to finish. Enjoy a spacious living room, separate bedroom and all the amenities that come with our most luxurious suite. Children are technically allowed on Azamara, but the line makes no accommodations for them -- no kids clubs, no youth staff, no programming.
The 2024-2025 Destination Guide
It has carved out an industry niche that caters to affluent, well-traveled cruisers who enjoy smaller vessels, a country house ambiance and itineraries that focus on destination immersion. Bare feet, vest tops, caps, swimwear, shorts, and ripped jeans aren’t permitted in the main dining room or specialty restaurants. Dinner tends to be a dressier affair with suits and long dresses and heels the norm. Onward sails in regions across the globe, with 155-night World Voyages planned for 2024 and 2025. Depending on the itinerary, guests may have the option to visit multiple destinations or stick to a country-specific route. You may modify or cancel your offer starting from 60 days up to 72 hours prior to departure, provided that your offer has not already been accepted by Azamara and provided your credit card has not been charged.
Experience More
Their shore excursions are also kept as small groups so you can have more personal interaction with the locals who lead the tours. Many of the excursions are much more experience-oriented than sightseeing. Azamara cruises are a good option if you're looking for an upscale line that offers excellent food and service at the lower end of the luxury price spectrum. You'll also receive a more destination-focused experience, with longer stays in port that allow you to take in the local nightlife. The price for a suite on the same sailing was $3,349 per person. Windows Cafe is the line's free buffet venue, which appears on all ships and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Club Interior Stateroom
Each private, bespoke AzAmazing Evenings event delivers authentic travel moments that bring you closer to your destination, its culture and its people. For example, we got to sit and experience The Three Tenors in a theatre in Italy reserved exclusively for our cruise. One of my clients said their favorite experience with Azamara so far was in Ephesus where they were treated to an Aegean Chamber Orchestra concert in the same amphitheater the ancient Ephesians used.
Inside cabins on Azamara ships
For a light bite on a sunny day, The Patio dishes up burgers, kebabs, hot dogs and soft serve yoghurts. The Sunset Bar is located on the aft end of this deck and comes with wraparound ocean views. Azamara recommends a "resort casual" style of dress, which prohibits bare feet, baseball caps, tank tops, torn or distressed jeans, bathing suits and shorts in the main dining room and all specialty restaurants. More casual wear is allowed in the Windows Cafe buffet, but shoes are required, and cruisers must wear cover-ups over their bathing suits. Generally, Azamara's vessels are nonsmoking, except for clearly designated areas on the forward port (left, when facing the front of the ship) side of the pool deck. Passengers are not permitted to smoke in other public areas or in their cabins, including on their balconies.

The Ultimate Guide to Booking Your Dream Ocean, River, or Expedition Cruise
Azamara welcomes guests of all ages; however, the on board experience caters to adults, and there are no dedicated activities for children. Azamara’s health and safety protocols vary depending on the destination. For sailings departing from and returning to the US and Europe, vaccination is not required.
Can I travel alone?
Anyone sailing before June 30, 2019 who previously placed an upgrade request will be placed on a priority list based on loyalty tier and time of request. In order to be considered, you will need to place a bid with Azamara Upgrade which will require you to add your credit card information. If your upgrade is approved, we will send you an email with your new stateroom information.
Standard cabins are small.
Please make a request at the time of booking but no later than 60 days prior to sailing. Please note that requests are subject to availability of interpreters. The earlier you let us know you need interpreters, the easier it is to confirm interpreters for your sailing. Services are provided on a shared basis for all hearing-impaired guests onboard. Refreshing sea breezes and stunning destination views come standard in our staterooms that offer your own private veranda.
Ships & On Shore
One of the line's signature events is a White Nights party, held at least once per cruise. While you won't be turned away if you aren't wearing white, it's nice to get into the spirit and join in. This is also one party where Azamara's usually sedate crowd gets up to boogie, so bring your dancing shoes. Guests with assistive devices who are unable to take a few steps will be unable to board tenders.
Yes, you will receive an email 72 hours prior to sailing if your offer does not get approved. We do not require proof of disability such as medical certificates or disability placards. However, we do require you to acknowledge your need for the accessible stateroom by completing a Guest Special Needs Form. We provide complimentary wheelchairs for getting on and off the ship. If you would like to have a wheelchair or scooter during the cruise, you are welcome to bring your own or rent one from a company that provides wheelchairs and scooter rentals for cruises.
In addition, all the social areas on the ship (bars, restaurants, etc.) are designed to be accessible to all passengers. There are also specific accessible activities and accommodations available on board for any mobility issues or medical assistance. But the majority of passengers are booked into inside, outside and balcony cabins that are the same as -- or smaller than -- what you'd find on a big cruise ship with a much lower price tag. Bathrooms are particularly cramped, and even average-sized travelers will find the shower tiny and the curtain clingy.
Cabins on Deck 4 aren't convenient for reaching popular areas on the ship like Windows and the Living Room, and can be noisy as they're close to guest relations and the medical centre. Some cabins on Deck 6 have a view that's obstructed by the ship's lifeboats. The cabins on Deck 7 outside the busy guest laundry should also be avoided.
